How to Make an Emergency Contact

Emergency Contacts are sent via email and SMS message to the list of contacts you choose (primary or emergency contacts).  These contacts receive the most recent photo of your loved one with the time and location it was taken, your loved one’s physical description and contact information, medical/behavioral conditions and allergies, any recent updates, and your contact information.  The emergency contact also contains a brief description of the emergency such as you cannot locate your loved one.

  1. Launch the SafetySnapp app on your mobile device
  2. Login to the app
  3. On the home screen, choose the top red button labeled “Emergency Contact”
  4. Select the loved one in an emergency by choosing their name from the “Select My Loved One” box
  5. In the text box under the picture, list a brief description of the emergency such as you cannot locate your loved one
  6. Under the text box, check to which category you would like to send the emergency contact (primary or emergency)
  7. Tap the blue “Contact Now” button on the bottom of the screen
